Privacy Policy

Information You Provide to Us

Account information may include your name, email address, profile information, and account identifiers supplied by supported authentication providers. You may also provide business information, including business names, categories, descriptions, regions, preferences, onboarding responses, domains, social profiles, website or email preferences, and other saved business information.

Location information may include target operating areas, Location assessments, customer-visit requirements, team size, inventory needs, parking needs, budget, growth expectations, and operating addresses. Operating addresses can be sensitive, particularly when also used as a home address. Access to complete saved Location information is restricted to appropriately authorized business managers.

We may receive email, contact messages, and other information you voluntarily send. Please do not submit unnecessary highly sensitive information through free-form fields, including Social Security numbers, passwords, financial-account credentials, health information, or government identification numbers.

If you use the Formation planning tool, Biz Blimp stores the business formation details you choose to save, such as a proposed name, entity type, formation state, principal address, registered-agent preference, owner or shareholder names and optional contact emails, LLC management choice, filing-contact choice, and EIN-help preference. Biz Blimp does not submit a filing, obtain an EIN, activate a registered-agent service, or collect Social Security numbers, tax IDs, or credentials through this workflow.

Google Maps and Area Suggestions

Biz Blimp may offer optional area suggestions powered by Google Maps Platform. These suggestions are not required to use the Location tool, and Google-powered area suggestions are not activated merely because you open or refresh saved Location information. They are activated when you choose to use area suggestions.

When you activate Google-powered area suggestions, the area search you enter and technical information associated with the request may be transmitted to Google. If you select and save a Google suggestion, Biz Blimp may send its Place ID to Google's Geocoding service and save the associated Place ID, selection time, and canonical locality, state or administrative area, and country returned for that selected place.

Biz Blimp does not currently use this feature to persist Google-provided coordinates, formatted addresses, ratings, photographs, reviews, place descriptions, or raw Google response data. We do not use device precise geolocation for this feature. You can continue using manually entered target areas without Google suggestions.

If you choose to explore an area, Biz Blimp may request and display nearby place information from Google Maps Platform for the current session. These Area snapshot results are not saved by Biz Blimp.

Google's independent practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy and Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms. Google does not endorse Biz Blimp merely because these optional features are available.

Commercial Space Discovery

When you explicitly choose to explore commercial spaces, Biz Blimp sends one server-generated search query to Brave Search. The query contains only your saved canonical target locality and state, a mapped commercial property category, the lease requirement, and United States context. Biz Blimp does not include your browser, user, business, action, saved Google Place identifier, business name, operating address, or full Location assessment.

Biz Blimp may display up to five public web results returned by Brave Search after applying limited checks for safe links, duplicate results, clearly residential or sale-only results, and explicit location conflicts. The result title, public description, source name, and source link may be displayed. Biz Blimp does not call a listing page, Google Maps API, Geocoding service, or AI model as part of this discovery request.

Search results are used transiently for the requested action and are not stored by Biz Blimp as a commercial listing database. Biz Blimp does not independently fetch, crawl, or unwrap linked listing pages.

Brave Search processing is governed by Brave's independent terms and privacy practices. Biz Blimp does not independently verify availability, pricing, size, or suitability; public listing information can change and should be verified with the original source before you rely on it.

Information Collected Automatically

Biz Blimp and its service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, HTTP and request information, timestamps, session information, error information, and security or abuse signals. We use this information for service operation, security, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and reliability.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Biz Blimp may use cookies or equivalent browser technologies necessary for authentication, secure sessions, temporary setup state, and service operation. Third-party functionality you choose to activate may use cookies or local storage under that third party's policies.

Biz Blimp does not currently use personal information to serve third-party behavioral or cross-context advertising. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technology that requires additional notice or consent, we will update our policies and controls as appropriate.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and maintain Biz Blimp, including to:

• authenticate accounts and maintain saved business information;
• operate business tools, recommendations, Location, domains, social profiles, and related features;
• provide support, troubleshoot issues, and send service-related communications;
• protect the service, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our Terms; and
• comply with applicable law and legal obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on legal bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where required.

How We Disclose Information

Biz Blimp does not sell personal information for money and does not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information to service providers that support hosting, infrastructure, database services, authentication, security, communications, payment, or other operational needs.

We may also disclose information to Google for Google sign-in and user-activated Google Maps functionality where applicable; to user-selected third-party integrations as needed to perform the requested action; in connection with legal, fraud, security, or rights-protection matters; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or asset transfer. We may also disclose information when you direct us to do so.

Third-Party Services

Third-party services have their own terms, privacy practices, and security practices. Biz Blimp does not control those services, and your use of them is subject to their applicable terms and policies.

Payments and Paid Services

If Biz Blimp offers paid products or services, payment information may be processed by third-party payment processors. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Biz Blimp does not intend to store full card numbers or payment-account credentials itself.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and business information, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect against security or fraud risks, and enforce agreements. Different categories of information may have different retention periods, and backups or logs may temporarily retain information after deletion.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including authentication, access controls, authorization, request validation, and secure network connections. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee security.

User Choices and Privacy Rights

You can update certain account and business information where product functionality permits. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, or restrict or object to certain processing of your information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. International Users and Transfers

Biz Blimp LLC operates from the United States, and Biz Blimp may be used internationally. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where service providers operate, where laws may differ from those in your location.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Where applicable, Biz Blimp LLC is the controller of personal information described in this Policy. Our legal bases may include performance of an agreement, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent. Individuals in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland may have applicable privacy rights, including rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, and restriction. Google services, when used, remain subject to Google's independent privacy practices.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have privacy rights under applicable law. Biz Blimp currently does not sell personal information for money or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact hello@bizblimp.com.

Children

Users must be at least 18 years old. Biz Blimp does not knowingly offer accounts to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact hello@bizblimp.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes where required by applicable law.
